Join Apostle-elect Talisa Thomas-Hall and FREE SPIRIT Ministries in welcoming its first covenant church - Abundant Life Deliverance Center in Greensboro, NC.

On Friday, June 18, Elder James Friday will be installed as pastor. The service will be officiated by Apostle-elect Hall supported by other laborers in ministry including Pastor Michelle Bennett of Scranton, PA who will preach the word for this service.

Apotle-elect Talisa Thomas-Hall was blessed to be one of the presenters at the 2010 Leadership Conference in Charleston, SC.  The conference was hosted by Bishop Ray Rucker and Chief Apostle J.D. Rucker head prelates of Emmanual Temple of Deliverance Ministries International and of Servant Heart Ministries.The Theme was "Sitting at Thy Teachers Feet" from I Timothy 4:11, "These things cammand and teach."

Apostle-elect Hall and FSRT joined Flaming Sword Ministries on July 17 -18 for its 6th annual Women Ablaze Conference.

This year's two-day conference featured numerous woman of God who brought forth a message related to the conference theme: Restoring the Joy (Psalm 51:12). The event honored members from the National Breast Cancer Society & Race for the Cure with a "Women in Pink" service on Saturday Night.

Pastor Hall and FREE SPIRIT Restoration Temple fellowshipped with Kingdom of Zion in support of the 2nd Anniversary of Kingdom of Zion and Pastor Rico Evans.

Pastor Hall brought forth the anointed message based on the anniversary theme, "THE VISION IS SPEAKING,  based on Habakkuk 2:3 -- The vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it: because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

FSRT was joined by the blessed music ministries of Good News Community Church (Bishop D. J. Heard and Overseer J. Heard) and Purity Pentecostal Deliverance Center (Apostle Frances Brown and Elder Brown).

FREE SPIRIT Restoration Temple Launches Get REAL
On Friday, May 23, FSRT launched a new ministry—Get REAL. Get REAL is a ministry aimed at developing responsible, ethical, accountable leaders to help improve church, family and career life within the community. Using Proverbs 12:2-3 as a base, the group discussed the meaning of integrity and its application to daily living.

The group’s first outreach is a men’s fellowship that meets every third Friday of the month. The goal is to provide a forum for men to come together and share real-life issues while encouraging each other to become men of integrity.

The next meeting will be held June 20, with integrity as the continued topic. The monthly challenge is, “How do you want people to see you? What’s your legacy?” To find out more about Get REAL or to register for the next meeting, contact the FSRT Public Relations department.

On Saturday, May 17 FSRT will participate in the Muscular Dystrophy Association's 2008 Stride & Ride. The MDA is a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans. FSRT has set a goal to raise $1000 to support this worth-while cause. Join us in this effort and donate today!

On Saturday, April 12th, FSRT welcomed 21 females to the third in the Woman to Woman series--Women to Woman: Breaking the Alabaster Box. The anointing of God overflowed. In this informal setting of Pastor Hall's home, the women came together and shared -- opening their hearts in an outpooring of release, love, and support for each other.  As each opened up her own personal "Alabaster Box" - the heart of her testimony - God's anointing filled the room and ministered to all...unleashing peace, power and understanding in place of questions, doubt and self preservation. To God be the glory in Jesus' Name!

Join Purity Pentecostal Deliverance Center in celebrating the 13th pastoral anniversary and 60th birthday of its founder and overseer, Apostle Frances L. Brown.  Services will be held at the church (3406 18th St., NE Washington DC) Sunday, April 13h at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, April 15th at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, April 16th at 7:30 PM, and Thursday, April 17th at 7:30 PM.

FREE SPIRIT Restoration Temple celebrated its second anniversary the first Sunday in February.  Members were appreciated by gifts of membership certificates from Pastor Hall and FSRT.  While celebrating the anniversary Wayne C. of Northern, VA gave his hand in membership which was cause for even more celebration.  Brother Wayne brings a longstanding history of volunteerism and support to the house of God and a love of Jesus Christ. We look forward to having him support FSRT's Men's Ministry.

Pastor Lofton has worked in the vineyard with a commitment to building souls through a powerful shelter ministry, a gifted annual women's conference and the work of Flaming Sword Ministries.  She is an anointed woman of God with a gift of exhortation and encouragement.  We look forward to recieivng what God has given her to share with FSRT and invite you to join us.

Woman to Woman -- Celebrating Strength Through Grace

Pastor Talisa Thomas-Hall and Trustee Ingrid Thomas headed to Elizabeth, NJ in response to an invitation to minister to a group of God's women.  The intimate gathering was held at the home of Sister Stephanie Blount who hosted her guest as if ministering to queens.

Pastor Hall ministered from the Book of Matthew Chapter 9 with Matthew 9:22 as the key verse:

“Daughter, be of good comfort;
thy faith hath made thee whole.”

The anointing of God moved in an awesome way! The women poured out thier heart and God poured out His Spirit...deliverance, healing, encouragement and restoration filled the room.

This was the second gathering in FREE SPIRIT Restoration Ministries Woman to Woman Series. The first was held in Northern, Virginia in May 2006.  Look for the third gathering in this anointed series -- Woman to Woman: Breaking the Albaster Box -- to return to Dale City, Virginia on April 11, 2008!

This long awaited first publication was introduced January 17, 2008.  A Word From The Pastor -- Annual Calendar, Journal, and Spiritual Motivation authored by Pastor Talisa Thomas-Hall captures some of the authors favorite inspriational writings in a monthly journal intended to inspired and uplift its readers.  Pastor Hall provided gift copies of the publication to each attendee during the recent Woman to Woman gathering in Elizabth, NJ.  Copies are available for sale for $5.00 each. The FREE SPIRIT Restoration Temple family was blessed to be invited to lead a local restauranteur and staff in prayer for the 2008 year. 

One step inside the door of  Bento Sushi Restaurant in Woodbridge, VA  and it becomes clear that this is a proud Christian establishment. The owners boldly confess Jesus as Lord and Savior and share freely with all who will listen. 

Pastor Hall met the proprietors on her first chance visit to the establishment and its been a spiritual connection ever since.  Having been invited to pray in the restaurant on several occassions, it was with thanksgiving to God that she accepted the invitation to bring FRST to Bentos for New Year's eve prayer and to bestow God's blessing upon the restaurant for the coming year.

We thank God for opening this door and for the movement of His Spirit.  We also extend our humble thanks to the owners of Bento for preparing an incredible table before us and welcoming us into their establishment with love, praise for God, and a spread of Japanese fair that was beyond what we could have imagined.  Truely our cup did runneth offer as we were richly fed both in the spirit and physically.  Praise be to God!

Praise the Lord! FSRT welcomed 6 new members today as the Family of Chrytal J. Young joined the ministry. The family was lead by six year old Tamirrah who was the first to come foward and offer her small hand in fellowship...with quick permission from mom.

Chrystal Young, the neice of Pastor Hall, and her family have been attending FREE SPIRIT Restoration Temple since they arrived in Virginia September 2007.  The family is already a blessing to the ministry having already formed The Youth Choir which fast became Pastor Hall's pride and joy...to the glory of God of course. 

Sister Chrystal who has a naturally compassionate spirit has taken to attending to the needs of the pastor and rolling up her sleaves to be a blessing to the ministry whenever and however she can.
